You shine within my heart just like the sun,
Each step toward you makes my journey bright.
You taught us knowledge, manners one by one,
And led us all to goodness, work, and light.
Among all geographers, you stand so tall,
A caring soul who lives for every mind.
Your deeds and wisdom outshine purest gold,
Your sleepless nights are known by God alone.
You never asked for praise or thanked your fate,
You gave your all with patience, love, and care.
To make us worthy humans in this world,
You bore great trials no one else could bear.
Some fail to see the truth I hold inside,
They call my words a tale, a dream, a lie.
Yet you stood firm through every test of life—
May God protect you always from on high.
I thank my fate for bringing you to me,
A teacher great, so rare, so kind, so wise.
Even the world held gently in my hands
Could not replace your voice, so warm and bright.
When asked, “Who is your teacher?” proud I say,
“My teacher is Shoira,” loud and clear.
The joy within your eyes when you see us
I’ll keep forever close, forever dear.
If God so wills, one blessed day will come,
I’ll take my teacher to the Hajj with love.
I’ll serve you faithfully my whole long life—
O God, protect my teacher from above.
Let me become a loyal student true,
Make you the happiest teacher ever known.
My Creator, this is easy all for You—
Please guard her honor, keep her safe and strong.
