Be the Light on My Paths

My poem, do not fade away,
Do not die—claim eternity.
Be the light upon my paths,
Let my heart be your company.

Let me open the garden of verse,
Like a nightingale, let me sing.
Let inspiration be my nest,
Filled with joy and delight.

Let me flow like a river,
Like waves, give my wings their flight.
Purely, deeply, fully drinking,
Let me string emotions like pearls.

It stretches its height toward the skies,
My poem has not yet died.
Like the fifteen-day moon,
It has not yet become full.

Give strength to the laughter,
Let them clap their hands with cheer.
At the summit of the mountain,
May they see you one day there.
