Talk about birds…
… My classmate and I were preparing a lesson. We talked about all sorts of topics: movies we had seen, new-fangled dresses, and boys in our class… At one point, my friend’s five-year-old brother came in and started teasing his sister:
– Go out and play in front of us, what are you doing? – my friend said angrily.
– No, I’ll sit with you, – her brother said, caressingly.
– Are you interested in girls? – my friend said bitterly.
– I’m not interested, just talk about birds and flowers, I’ll listen.
Unable to get rid of her brother, my friend reluctantly started talking about flowers, birds, and nature. I joined in. We talked for a long time. During this time, I became convinced of one thing: the more we talked about these topics, the lighter our spirits became, as if a light entered us.
I think: it is possible to receive spiritual nourishment not only from adults, but also from a small child.
Yuldashboyeva Parizoda was born on November 20, 2008 in the Khojaabad district of Andijan region. She is currently an 11th grade student in the same district.
