Wherever I go, my sad household comes along. He sits next to me on the train, smiles. His chubby cheeks flash a sweet dimple. Some days we play ‘Fire! Fire!’, some days we sit on the swing of ‘strange silence’ and gently move together. He falls asleep holding me tight — my adorable household. I look at his sleepy eyes and suddenly see … from inside his eyes a rainbow-like dinghy flies away toward my cosmic household clutching me on its beak … to the mystery of a Do-Re-Mi field of dreams …






মহাজাগতিক সংসার

যেখানেই যাই আমার সঙ্গে সঙ্গে যায় আমাদের বিষণ্ন সংসার। ট্রেনে আমার পাশে এসে বসে সে,মৃদু হাসে।ওর তুলতুলে গালে আশ্চর্য টোল পড়ে।এক একদিন আমরা আগুন আগুন খেলি,এক একদিন ‘অচিন নিস্তব্ধতা’র দোলনায় দুলতে থাকি সারারাত… ঘুম এলে আমাকে জড়িয়ে ধরে ঘুমিয়ে পড়ে আমার লাজুক সংসার। আমি ওর ঘুমন্ত চোখে চোখ রেখে সহসা দেখি—ওর চোখের ভেতর থেকে একটি রামধনুর মতো ডিঙি নৌকো আমায় ঠোঁটে নিয়ে উড়ে যাচ্ছে ওই মহাজাগতিক সংসারটির দিকে….ওই তাতা থৈথৈ তেপান্তরের রহস্যে…


Short Bio:-
Abin Roychoudhury (born September 2, 1987, in Mangalkote, West Bengal) is an Indian Bengali poet, essayist, lyricist, and writer. He began writing poetry for children’s magazines in the fourth grade and started contributing to literary magazines in 2013. After teaching at two B.Ed. colleges for nearly six years, he left academia to pursue poetry full-time. His debut collection, Itipurbe Bolini, was published by Ananda Publishers, one of India’s leading publishing houses. His other poetry collections include Golap Nirapekkha Noy and Bibarna Cycle. He wrote the lyrics for the popular song Norom Sobdo Chunye Dao, available on global music platforms. He has participated in the Krittibas Poetry Festival, the India–Bangladesh Poetry Festival, and All India Radio programmes. His works have appeared in Desh, Bharat Bichitra, and other literary platforms. He received the Mallika Sengupta Smriti Puraskar and lives in Panuhat near Katwa, West Bengal, India.
