“The Flag – The Face of a Nation”
A report on the event held with the participation of 2nd grade students of School No.21, Jondor District, Bukhara Region
Every year on November 18, the Day of Adoption of the State Flag of the Republic of Uzbekistan is celebrated throughout the country with deep respect and national pride. The flag is the face of a nation — a sacred symbol that embodies the history, independence, and noble aspirations of its people.
In 2025, on the occasion of this significant date, School No.21 of Jondor District, Bukhara Region, organized a spiritual and educational event titled “The Flag – The Face of a Nation.” The event was actively attended by 2nd grade students, who presented their creative works dedicated to the national flag.
The event was organized under the guidance of Ochilova Ozoda, leader of the ‘Barkamol Avlod’ extracurricular club. The students prepared drawings of the national flag, patriotic slogans, small stage performances, and thematic compositions expressing their love for the Motherland.
One of the most remarkable aspects of the event was the children’s creativity and initiative. Each student depicted the flag through their own imagination, using colors, shapes, and symbols to express their feelings toward Uzbekistan. Their drawings, map-shaped flag illustrations, and slogans such as “The Flag is Our Pride,” “The Flag is Our Honor,” and “My Flag – My Identity” clearly reflected the depth of their patriotism.
During the event, students learned about the colors of the national flag, the crescent, the 12 stars, and the meanings they convey. They not only listened but also expressed their understanding through art, sharing their emotional connection to the flag with the entire class.
This event further strengthened the children’s sense of love for the Motherland, respect for the flag, unity, and national identity. Their active participation showed that they are not only learners but also young individuals capable of initiative, creativity, and deep appreciation for national values.
The national flag of Uzbekistan is a bright symbol of our people’s past, present, and confident future. Honoring and cherishing it is a noble duty of every generation.
