One day-somehow
A letter arrived at the UN
Straight from Hell.
“…Dear rulers of the world,
We have a request.
Technology has advanced here too
Everyone’s sins are now measured
By a single device.
Like clock hands,
The more it spins,
The greater the sin.
Sometimes send us politicians,
Send us sycophant poets,
And those fake patriots as well.
For when they come,
The hands of the device
Spin like a giant fan
And this burning Hell
Gets a little cooler.”
