The Two Greatest Souls in My World

The Two Greatest Souls in My World

The two greatest souls my whole world has known,
My mountains of strength, my heart’s truest home.
One lifts me to heaven through prayers softly said,
One shelters my path where my quiet fears fled.

My mother’s hands carry heaven’s own grace,
Her lullabies sing with a nightingale’s pace.
Her eyes hold an ocean of endless light,
Her arms are my harbor, peaceful and bright.

My father’s silence teaches me strong,
His gentle restraint proves love all along.
The weight of the mountains rests on his side,
Yet bravely he bears it with honor and pride.

While they are beside me, I’m wealthy and free,
Their love is the wings that carry me.
The two greatest souls my life has ever known—
With them in my world, my heart has its home.
