HI! OCTOBER!
October is the month for contemplation; the month for looking back in love and anger; the month for reviewing our past deeds and misdeeds. October is the month for the autumnal ripening of nature, for writing or humming a few poems and for looking back on the memories, not all of which find place in the history of mankind.
Swayed by the caprices of October I drift back to those historical upheavals that once took place in October and moved the destiny of man to new directions and destinations: let us here walk on a few footprints of the month of great October…

to wealth, owes to the labourers, paid as low as to let them eke out their living and just keep the flow of labour steady and uninterrupted for the conversion of raw resources into wealth.

HINDSIGHT
The Great October Socialist Revolution
The Russian radicals known as the Bolsheviks carried out “the Great October Socialist Revolution” as the climax and conclusion to the Bolshevik Revolution.
The Russian Bolshevik Revolution was a series of two revolutions: the first of which overthrew the imperial Tsarist government and the second placed the Bolsheviks in power. Precisely, the second phase is called “the great October Revolution”.
On the night of October 24, 1917, Bolshevik Red Guards took control of key points in the Russian capital, Petrograd. By the following evening, they occupied the entire city with the exception of the Winter Palace, the seat of the Provisional Government. This government ruled Russia since Tsar Nicholas II’s abdication the preceding February, but it lost the support of the masses as Russia’s World War I casualties continued to mount. At this juncture Provisional Government ministers abdicated their offices. That night, Bolshevik Red Guards broke into the palace and arrested the ministers, bringing the Provisional Government to an end.
