On the New collection of postmodern poetry- Author Niloy Rafiq
The new collection of poetry by the talented poet with very good reputation, Niloy Rafiq reflects the current trend of post-modern poetry, with which the poet, in his own way, approaches the image of the vast culture and tradition of Bangladesh as well as the great Indian subcontinent. India is made up of great cultural and religious differences, turmoil is constantly oscillating, a huge cultural heritage but also prejudices, a rich noon of poetic expression.
It unites and expresses all this as an image of its homeland, as its own experience of love, truth, and life.
One can feel the slight influence and reflection of the greatest poetic magician, Rabindrath Tagore, which is an inseparable path of Indian poets, as if they are hovering over India with the same gaze or walking in the paths of the legendary poet Tagore.
Poet NILOY RAFIQ, fantasy ‘that I am a bird and that I kiss the heavens’, for him, love is imaginary, mostly tied to an indirect way of living and realizing true love. He wants life to be love.
In the poem ‘Dritasrashtra’ the poet mentions, collects lust, love in his heart-while others burn the house of honest people. The poem of Niloy is very powerful, carries a lesson, it will touch on old Indian culture and traditions and the famous epic Mahabharata and Ramayana, it expresses religious feelings forming a deep consciousness. It connects rituals and pious activities with cultural, social and economic segments of society.
He deeply believes that individuals are deeply responsible for their behavior and the state of this world in general. He is not afraid to express his desire for justice, moral principles, the eternal conflict between good and evil. Which is an inexhaustible source of inspiration for artists.
He expresses the depth and richness of words, expressing his own mental and spiritual path, he managed to connect his own feeling, traditionalism and mysticism with thin threads.
Dr. Jernail S Aanand has written numerous books on epic culture, myths, also writers, Shikdar Mohammed and Bhagirath
Choudhary.
Also, the poet in the form of a series of symbols, allegories, hyperboles and parables makes this collection richer. The collection has several dozen songs.
In this way, we present a significant achievement in post-modern poetry.
We wish great success with readers and literary critics. He certainly enters the circle of top poets of contemporary literature, a very gifted and sensitive, middle generation of Bangladesh.
