Nga Nepali:Sushant Thapa:The Seeking Darkness

                                                                 The Seeking Darkness

I have been walking

This road to somewhere

I have had bread crumbs

In my pocket since childhood.

I have walked

Through the dreary dungeon.

I dropped the bread crumbs

And it lighted the path

I traveled even in darkness.

Hensel and Gretel

From the story

Met beside my hut.

When you cannot

Light up your world

The sunshine feels dimmer.

I have been a seeker.

At the night hour

I choose to lighten the darkness.

My soul seeks eternity,

The reason to be humane

And accept mortality

And feel forever in my palm.
